How Inco helped
The Cardinal House project involved the full refurbishment of an old dilapidated youth centre into 44 self-contained student accommodation rooms. Each room has its own purpose-made bathroom pod and kitchenette. The works involved the installation of new acoustic partitions built off the newly installed mezzanine structure and foundations. The EPC rating was drastically increased by installing insulated back plasterboard to all the external walls. A completely new M&E installation was carried out to ensure the building conformed to all modern standard living luxuries. The £1.2 million project was carried out in an extremely tight timeframe of 12 weeks.
